Bobbin thread is not being directed under the sewing deck to the needle. As far as I can tell, I have loaded the thread per the instructions, but the fly wheel doesn't catch the thread to bring it around...

The plastic thread holder broke off and while trying to adjust the bobbin tension, the screw fell out. I was having to use a screw driver to hold he thread in place. The sewing machine would not stop...
