Akg c3000b or shure ksm27? - you mean the at4050, don't you? the 4055 is probably a shotgun mic ,or something (i could look it up on their website, i suppose :roll: ). I have only heard the c3000b through a mackie board and thought it sounded harsh. i wouldn't buy one. i've heard decent things about the ksm 27 and great things about the at 4040.... Akg c3000b or shure ksm27? - the c3000b has very much presence, for vocals i only used it with a male vocalist with very much lows in his voice. now i use that mic only for distant micing, or with a source that is very mud sounding. if you want to clear I have only heard the c3000b through a mackie board and thought it sounded harsh. i wouldn't buy one. i've heard decent things about the ksm 27 and great things about the at 4040.... Akg c3000b or shure ksm27? - i agree that the akg sounds harsh. i would go with the shure. i would also look for a much better mic pre than a behringer. you would be amazed how much better the mic will sound then. Building a mic library...help!!! - just wondering what ppl thought of the akg c3000b as a vocal mic??? is a nt2a still a better option? Get a shure ksm44. You'll use it on everything.
