Following frank's kind suggestions in the original thread, i'm posting an updated recording made on my new setup. the gear is as follows:
akg perception 400 condenser
presonus inspire gt preamp/interface

I am wanting to buy a decent microphone for my home studio, something that has a great sound on vocals and possibly other things. i can't afford to spend more then 3 or 4 hundred dollars at the most....

I tested four types of microphones: akg c1000, akg c3000, akg perception 400 and neumann km 184. I put a mp3-file of each here. It´s in every file the begining of beethoven sonata f-minor, 1 movement.
please, tell me, which mic...
