I have 5 tubes of dow corning non melting, waterproofing and insulating silicone compound.

Im after a remote shutter cable for a 400d is there such a thing, if so where do i get one from, im drawing blanks as to what i should be looking for.

A little less complicated than philip's excelent home made astro kit but still , i went out just now and threw this together.

I have now fitted and tested the skywatcher synscan goto upgrade on my heq5 mount.
easy to follow steps of how i went about the upgrade with pictures to help.

Having just sold the last of my dj set up im in the market for the next piece of astro gear.
there is a choice to be made however, and its all tied into starting some astro-photography.
