A way to transfer files onto a fostex mr-8 (moved) - hmm it's tricky but it can be done. if your fostex can import and export wav files it should be easy. just have your friend do a rough mix to wav file and copy that wav to a cd-r. then import the wav

Anyone? maybe i should rephrase the question. how do you move recordings to different mediums? specifically between a siab and a computer setup with protools...

A way to transfer files onto a fostex mr-8 (moved) - (moved from other forum) is there a way to transfer .wav files that were say recorded in protools le onto my fostex mr-8? say like i recorded the bass and guitar at my friend's studio on protool

Importing tracks (wav files) made on other machines?

Is it possible to import tracks made on other machines ? before getting the g, i used a fostex mr-8 (for a short while) with the mr-8, i would transfer the individual tracks (wav files) to my pc via usb...

This is a rough sketch for a song called headphones. It was initially written on piano, but i suck at recording so i wound up picking up the bass and guitar once again. I usually like to get things done...

Considered 4 or 8 track mini disc? - fostex mr-8 it's a nice little 8-track. i wish i could have bought something bigger and better, but i just don't have the money.

zoom mrs 8 track...Little thing but you can do a lot with it. it's 350 and will do everything you want it to....

Hi tom your desk has balanced outs only. are the xlr inputs on your fostex mic or line level? if they are line level just use them with xlr cables. if you want to use the unbalanced inputs just build...
