Drums for the non-drummer - i would recommend fxpansion;s bfd. i have switched to that, and never looked back. you have complete control, and you have pre made grooves, for the non drummer. i have spent time listening to my fav bands drums, and sometimes, Midi it works for strings too. make sure you have good patches though....
