I bought one of their frames from my lbs back in 1999 or 2000 and is built up with manitou mars forks, full xt groupset, xt hubs on mavic 517 sup rims and finished off with ritchey bars and seat...

Mmmm...I'll have to check the steerer length etc but
looking for a nice pair of rigid forks to replace the manitou mars on my 2000 stumpjumper.
these forks (and the whole bike) are in brand new condition.
v brake or post disc...

Trying to sort out the air pressure in these manitou mars forks.
i have a rockshox pump with the pictured fittings.
the fork valve has both inner and outer thread.
if i use the outer thread and appropriate adapter the forks pump up...

Rock shok sid or manitou mars or similar.
80mm of travel , preferably air spring,lightweight,200mm ish of steerer and it must be red.

I have a manitou mars shock, i just do not like the feel.
or maybe i just cannot get used to the feel. It seems to ''dive'' when braking, and it seems to rebound to fast/hard
i'm a ''clydesdale'' so perhaps...
