i have a teac dv-w50d, found how to flash the pioneer dvr-106 kernel & firmware, and everything worked fine until i found out i don't have the ability to burn dvd-rws. My teac backup files went...

This was achieved by the following steps:
1.
downloaded fwupdvw50d02.Exe from http://www.Teac.Co.Jp/dspd/download/firmware/dv-w50d/explain.Html or ftp://ftp.Teac.Co.Jp/pub/dspd/download/firmware/dvdrw/fwupdvw50d02e.Exe. The archive was extracted to a suitable directory.
2.
downloaded 73813268dvr106d_fw108.Exe from http://www.Pioneerelectronics.Com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_3424/73813268dvr106d_fw108.Exe. The archive was extracted to a suitable directory.
3. The ''teac'' file r6124106.107...

Is there a chance to flash a teac dv-w58d to a pioneer 107d ?
i have already done that with my teac dv-w50d to a pioneer 106d and am i thinking of doing this because teac is more than 50 euro...

Is there a chance to overclock the teac dv-w50d? may be flashing with the new dv58d firmware? (or even dv-w58g?) can anyone please tell us the main hardware differences? well, dv-58d can also read dvd-ram...
