I turn on my keyboard and within minutes it(LCD screen) starts flashing and subsequenly it starts to reset itself as if someone was pressing the power button on and off. It goes through the Yamaha logo screen(start up sequence)then start...

when I turn on my 3000 a line appears down the middle and the display unit and is so jumbled up its impossible to make out what instrument or song or style you have .This is not a uncommon occurrence...
