I have bought bought and tried two discs for this game no luck,loads okay when i press run nothing..no desk top icon or in menu..have new 64 bit laptop

I have bought and tried two discs for this game no luck,loads okay when i press run nothing..no desk top icon or in menu..have new Vista 64 bit laptop,tried can you run it and laptop passed no problems..after loading screen comes up press run nothing....
