ticking fan

The fan makes this awful clicking/ticking when it turns on. I've tried blowing on the exhaust opening, and spraying it with an electronics duster spray, but it does help. I wanted to know if there were any other things I could do before attempting to take apart my computer and look inside to see if there's something loose (which i think there might be...)
