Can't Reboot My PC

I was on the phone with Tech services from AT&T in the final stages of connecting my wireless when all of the sudden my PC went black. Apparently the battery died and I can't reboot or turn on PC. The CD/DVD works and the sound comes on, but I can't get the pc portion working. Right now I am so frustrated, I have a lot of information on this PC and can't make it work. Help. :{
